Back in January of 2024, Beer on the Wall took a field trip to Revolution for a day of carefully selecting our Build-A-Barrel. After much deliberation, sampling and experimentation, our beloved beer, thoughtfully named ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฏ.๐ฆ.๐ข.๐., has finished aging over the last 21 months and is officially ready to tap on Thursday, October 16th at 5pm at ALL THREE Beer on the Wall locations!
This single barrel of extra-sweet component Straight Jacket English-style Barleywine was aged in a young Cruzan Rum barrel for two years with a triple dose of supplemental French oak. These additional new oaks were toasted to maximize vanilla & coconut expressions, and provide ample "grippy" tannins balancing the base beer's concentrated malty sweetness.
